Perforated Window Graphics
Perforated window graphics are a way to add visual interest and depth to any space. They are often used in retail stores, restaurants, and other commercial spaces.
Customers will see the graphics through the windows and be drawn into the store or restaurant. This can make them more likely to stay longer and spend more money.
Perforated window graphics can also be used in residential spaces such as apartments or homes. They can be used for shade but they also add visual interest without making any permanent changes to your property.
The perforated window graphics are made up of a vinyl material that is stretched over an aluminum frame and then perforated with small holes which allow air to escape. This creates a clear view from the inside out, while still allowing for visibility from the outside in.
Overall they provide privacy, security, and shade from harsh sunlight exposure. Consider them if your storefront is facing the sun straight ahead.

FAQs
Perforated window graphics are designs that are visible from the outside, but not the inside. This allows you to draw in customers with large, impressive graphics without blacking out your windows. Instead, you can see out your windows almost as normally as you could prior to the graphics being installed.
Perforated vinyl is see-through from one direction, but opaque in the other. This works because of tiny holes that are punched in the material. The light from the outdoors is greater than the light indoors so the light passes freely inside, allowing you to see out the window. Much like how you can see out of your home windows clearly on a bright day but from the outside, you wouldn’t be able to see in.
This is another name for perforated window graphics. They are the same product with the same uses and benefits.
This is another name for both perforated window decals and perforated window graphics. They can be differentiated slightly at times as perforated vinyl windows may imply that the entirety of the window is covered while perforated window decals may only cover a certain section of the window.
The vinyl in these graphics is perforated to allow sunlight to pass through them. This allows you to create the one-way viewing effect where people inside would be able to see out your windows, but people on the outside would only be able to see your graphic. This means you don’t sacrifice much light or a nice view but you still benefit from having a large graphic that passersby are sure to notice.
It is always best to have your signage professionally removed. Our team of experts has the experience and tools necessary to remove your vinyl window graphics without harming the underlying glass.
Perforated window graphics are made very similarly to typical window vinyl with design and custom printing. There is an additional step in which holes are punched into the vinyl. These holes are small but many and typically anywhere from 30 to 50 percent of vinyl is removed from the original piece.
Perforated window vinyl will typically last several years with proper upkeep and maintenance. Conditions like harsh sunlight and inclement weather can shorten the lifetime of your vinyl. Be sure to contact us to discuss the best ways to care for your graphics.
Our perforated window graphics can be laminated or not depending on the specific needs of your graphic. Typically, we do include a clear laminate or spray laminate which will add durability to your window vinyl. However, the laminate may obstruct the view in some cases so we will refrain from using it in those instances.
